Over the intimidation?

Whew! I think I got it! And it was really easy. I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I find that most techy stuff is pretty simple once you (or I, in this case) get past the intimidation factor. I can definitely see how useful this could be. We are all so cut off from each other. Although I've already scanned the blogs a little, I now plan to go through them all to see what my fellow employees are thinking about all this. By the way, I chose Blogger because I'm familiar with it, but now that I got this done, I'm thinking of creating an at-home blog and using one of the other possibilities -- Vox maybe. At any rate, I can't wait to add some pictures!

Congratulations on making the leap! I agree that one of the real benefits of doing this project is the sense of connection with our colleagues, through their blogs, tweets and comments. And other staff members are very willing to help if anyone gets stuck along the way.

I also feel that a sense of community is one of the best results of our Web 2.0 Explorations. Quite a few staff members are now on Twitter and Facebook. So now it is easy to see how things are going with our colleagues in other branches.
